BELLE PLAINE BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION EVALUATIONS

2023-2024

BELLE PLAINE BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION EVALUATIONS

A one-day evaluation will be held for boys and girls in grades 5-8. If your child wants to play on a team, please read the information below about the Belle Plaine Basketball Association and the 2023-2024 basketball season.

BPBA:  The purpose of developing a traveling team is to create playing opportunities beyond school programs. All athletes who try out for a traveling team should do so knowing that the program's objectives are to be competitive and improve overall skills.

Expectations for a BPBA basketball player:

  • Register and participate in the tryout process
  • Participate in practices scheduled by the team coach
  • Participate in weekend tournaments

Grades 5 & 6 - Community Ed Basketball Changes

The Community Ed Saturday league is not allowing association players to take part in the league. This change will mean that BPBA players are not required to play Community Ed. BPBA players will still receive two practices per week, along with association tournaments.

Tournament/Facility Fees:

  • 5th Grade= $360
  • 6th, 7th & 8th Grade = $425
  • After team selections, families will receive an online invoice that will need to be paid to secure your team placement (no tournament/facility fee check is required at tryouts)
  • Scholarship opportunities for families that need them are available through the Feast.
